Enhancing Perceptions of Vocational Education and Training in Ghana
Following discussions with stakeholders in Ghana, CSD is developing a pilot skills development project in partnership with the Council of Vocational Education and Training (COTVET), Ghana which seeks to explore and address negative perceptions of vocational education and training in Ghana.

CSD is currently conducting a research project  to explore young people's attitudes and perceptions towards vocational education and training internationally, using survey data from 4 different countries.

Vocational Education and Training for Vulnerable and Marginalised Groups [India]
City & Guilds is part of a consortium, working on three key components for skills development in India.  These are the establishment of Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) in India; the delivery of demand-driven skills training across the manufacturing, agro-processing and tourism sectors; and the development of a delivery mechanism for soft skills, in Sirsa (Haryana) and Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh).

Learning from Experience: Hearing the Offender Learner Voice in Community Based Skills Policy and Practice [UK]

Following on from CSDs recent projects on social inclusion, including research on information advice and guidance for disadvantaged adults, we are now working on a research project focusing on the experiences and perceptions of offender learners in the community.
