Malaysia to introduce vocational training earlier in
the curriculum [Malaysia]
Malaysian Education Minister, Datuk Seri
Hishammuddin Hussein, has announced plans to introduce vocational
education into the curriculum from Form One of the education
system, instead of at Form Three as at present. The change comes as
part of the country’s efforts to reduce dropouts. The Minister also
said that the ministry was looking at ways to improve qualities of
entrepreneurship, competitiveness and interactive skills through
the school curriculum.
