Human Resources Ministry to expand training

The Malaysian Human Resources Ministry is
expanding its training scheme under the Industrial Training
Institute and Academic Development Centre (ADEC) to provide more
skills training, particularly for the services sector. Minister
Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam said the move was necessary as 60 per cent
of Malaysians are employed in the services sector. Subramaniam also
said that his ministry was looking into the possibility of
increasing coordination between various government agencies in
providing skills training.
